Cornish Mining World Heritage Site

A major project has been to capture images of the UNESCO Cornish Mining World Heritage Site which was designated in 2006. The Site consists of 10 Districts throughout the County one of which, the Tamar Valley, straddles the border with Devon and includes Tavistock.

Each District has it’s own character and each image a GPS reference and map to help you to find those features that are less obvious. Do bear in mind when visiting that some of the features are privately owned.
